AndEngine is an awesome engine to develop games on android platform. I love it.
Moreover, AndEngine has a wonderful community. You can rest assured that you’ll find help anytime you need it.
To make things better, Richard A. Rogers will release a book named Learning Android Game Programming: A Hands-On Guide to Building Your First Android Game.
Do I need to say anything else? Happy coding.

I don’t know why neither how, but today I tried again to register myself as a facebook developer and I had no problem at all.
This time facebook recognized that my mobile was already verified and didn’t asked me to verify it as I’ve wrote last post.
Fine! One problem less.
I’m having a hard time trying to register myself as a facebook developer.
I tried to create an app and an error message said I needed to verify my account prior to became a developer.
It is necessary to have an mobile phone or a credit to verify you account and them become a developer on facebook.
When you select to use you mobile phone they provide you a number. You send an SMS to this number and they will send you a code. Then you insert this code on facebook’s page and if they match you get verified.
This was the method I’ve selected. I accomplished successfully the verification process and then I tried again to create an app.
To my surprise facebook complained again saying I needed to verify me account. But going to page https://www.facebook.com/confirmphone.php facebook tells me my phone is verified. So I’m stuck at this and I cannot proceed.
The worst thing? I’ve wrote on http://forum.developers.facebook.com and to its support but up to now there is no answer. In the forum, by the way, there are many people with exactly the same problem.
Do you know how to solve this problem? If you know what to do, please Tell me!
Today I moved WordPress installation from the main domain (http://plicatibu.com) to http://blog.plicatibu.com.
This will make my life a little easier in the near future. It’s better to do this move right now that there are not too much readers than later when (I hope) there will be a lot of references of my posts on Google.
These days I was studying how to use the AndEngine‘s MenuScene. What is this good for? It’s good to make a menu with floating text over the screen, as shown in picture 1. It looks nice, doesn’t it?
Picture 1 – Menu options using MenuScene
I’ve used this example from AndEngine. This example built a menu with just 2 options (2 strings: RESET and QUIT). At first everything worked fine.
